Welcome to

Riverside Nursery School - Powder House Farm

We are based in the rural village of Tutshill in the Forest of Dean, South Gloucestershire. We are within close proximity of the local primary school, local park and shops. We take the children on regular walks to the park and around the local area, joining in the annual Scarecrow Trail in the Spring.

The setting is a converted, Grade II listed farmhouse with a large garden and access to the surrounding fields and copse. We have 5 chickens, which the children help to look after, as well as helping to attend to our vegetable patch where we grow, pumpkins, cabbages, lettuces, strawberries, carrots etc. The main building houses our Squirrels (2-3 year olds) on the ground floor and our Badgers (3-4 year olds) on the 1st floor, with our Otters (3 months - 2 years) located in a separate

converted stable block with their own designated garden on the other side of our car park which can be utilised by parents and staff.
